Olympic Ring, Brass

OLYMPIC - this is Washington State's only native oyster. I love the delicate wavy edges of oyster shells. Hand carved and lost wax cast in either brass or sterling silver. A dramatic cocktail ring that's comfortable enough for all day fun. Measures: 1.3" x 1.1"

Collection: he Low Tide collection, inspired by the treasures found during the quiet contemplation experienced at low tide, is full of pieces that mirror and celebrate the confidence and assuredness you find when you strip down to what’s most valuable to you.

The brass we cast with is called Jewelers Brass. It's an alloy which gives it its stunning color which compares to 10k gold in tone. Using brass allows me to create substantial pieces in gold tones at a fraction of the cost of gold. It wears incredibly well, is slow to tarnish, and easily cared for in the same way that you'd care for silver.

It is in the nature of silver and raw brass to tarnish over time. Although it can be polished back to it’s original state, we encourage you to embrace the evolving finish of the metal. A jewelry polishing cloth works wonders for both silver and brass, but if you prefer, you can gently wash the jewelry with cleaning powder like Bar Keepers Friend to restore it’s original finish. Jewelry is best stored in a dry environment.
